New Dragon Age: Inquisition Trailer

Every War has a Hero, what Kind of Hero will you be? The question rings loud and clear in the new trailer for Dragon Age Inquisition, titled Hero of Thedas. Inquisition is the third release in BioWare’s epic series. Thedas is the same geographic territory that was the setting for the previous two titles, but BioWare has promised larger environments and much more opportunity for exploration.

It has been stated previously at DigiExpo 2013 that part of the gameplay in Dragon Age: Inquisition will focus on acquiring and maintaining power in the regions of the map through the use of strongholds. 24 seconds into the trailer, we are shown what appears to be one of them. Strongholds will serve a hub for additional tasks and missions.

There is a lot to see in this trailer, as we are shown at the 1-minute mark what appears to be a tear in the Veil, which separates Thedas from the mystical realm of The Fade. Which BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn confirmed would be a part of the plot, back at E3 2013.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is one of the most anticipated games of 2014 and will include all of the epic battles and plot from previous iterations in the series, as well as a more sophisticated romance feature which will allow the player to pursue a romantic relationship with a companion of any gender.

Dragon Age: Inquisition promises 20-40 hours of story based gameplay with 150-200 hours for total completion and is slated for release on November 18, 2014.
