Hit Record on TV with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Season 2

My pick of the month this month is The Big Short. The Academy Award winner for Best Adapted Screenplay, which stars Christian Bale, Steve Carrell, and Ryan Gosling, is a dramedy centering around the financial crisis of 2007, which was brought on by the housing bubble finally bursting. If this isn’t your jam, then there’s the Back to the Future trilogy which everyone and their uncle should know about. Also coming to home media are the first two Beverly Hills Cop films, widely known as the best two films of the bunch. Finally, if you’re looking for a more dramatic tilt, there’s the John Travolta vehicle Phenomenon.

That’s all I’ve got for this month. Got any questions or comments? Did I miss something you wanted to discuss? Feel free to hit me up in the comments section below.

Until next time…

  1. Peter I foresee a PF Back to the Future watch night in our future.

  2. The Last Kingdom S1 – noice

  3. I thought that picture was of Jon Snow and got happy.

    • Sorry ’bout that. I generally use the three pictures for the three picks I mention; trouble is, all three were at the first of the month. So, I had to scramble, and this is what I came up with.

This has been your view into how the sausage is made.
