My pick of the month – because I am nothing if not predictable – is Marvel’s Iron Fist. Starring Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, and David Wenham, this tells the story of Danny Rand (Jones), a billionaire industrialist who returns to civilization after being presumed dead in a plane crash. He comes back with a innate knowledge of Kung-Fu due to being trained in K’un-Lun after a group of Buddhist monks rescued him. If you think this sounds like Iron Man for the martial arts set, then you’re absolutely right. If you think this sounds like something you’re willing to watch almost immediately, you’re absolutely right on that as well.

If Marvel’s not your thing, first of all…why? Second of all, we have a whole host of other things for you to check out. The first two seasons of The Carmichael Show, Chicago, the first three Jurassic Park movies, Disney’s The BFG and Disney’s Pete’s Dragon, the first season of Rosewood, The Waterboy, and GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are just a few things that could pique your interest. Yes; I’m serious about The Waterboy. No; I’m not taking it back.

That’s all I’ve got for this month. Got any questions or comments? Did I miss something you wanted to discuss? Feel free to hit me up in the comments section below.

Until next time…
